BENDZINSKI SAID: “It was a definitely a roller coaster ride, an up-and-down season. Truthfully it didn't really end the way I wanted it to [she twisted her ankle at New England championships]. I'm still really happy with it, because looking back at what I accomplished and the amount I improved, that's something I have to be proud of. I learned a lot of lessons. I think I'm wiser. I had a good time, overall, I had fun. It made me realize no matter how I do, I still love the sport.”

LOGAN SAID: “CB had a great season. Most impressive was her ability to focus on each race and what was needed to be successful in those races. Last year, she was tentative about competing at Wickham [Park] and I think she has been able to overcome the anxiety that place can sometimes cause. If she trains intelligently during the year and next summer, she should have another fantastic season.”

UP NEXT: Will compete in indoor and outdoor track.

IN 10 YEARS: “I've always had a dream to be a doctor. I hope to run in college. I hope that being a runner and having to endure a lot, being strong mentally, hopefully that will help me out a little.”
