Doug Anderson (b. 1943)

<a href="http://articles.courant.com/2008-10-12/news/4uconn1012.art_1_martin-espada-books-curbstone-press">Anderson</a> is a fiction writer, memoirist and poet. He served as a combat medic in the Vietnam War. After the war he attended the University of Arizona, where he studied acting. Anderson began writing poetry when he moved to Massachusetts. He has taught at the University of Connecticut and Eastern Connecticut State University.
