Don Stacom is a reporter for The Courant covering transportation, transit, New Britain, Bristol and state revenue sharing. He has previously reported on Enfield, Somers, and Torrington, and is a former editor at The Register-Citizen in Torrington and former assistant city editor at The Republican-American in Waterbury. He has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Minnesota and a Master's from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a long-time member of the Connecticut Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, where he is served eight years on the board of directors.
