Desmond Conner


Desmond Conner, who covers UConn football, came to the Courant in 1991 from the Syracuse Post-Standard. He began covering high school sports and has covered the NFL and NBA. He also spent nine years covering UConn men’s basketball and Hall of Fame coach Jim Calhoun. This is his second stint on UConn football, returning in 2007. His favorite sport is anything that involves the pigskin. Desmond, a jazz enthusiast, is married and a father of three.
