The CT Trolley Museum in East Windsor was founded in 1940, under the mission of preserving the staple of business and social life in the early 20th century: trolley travel.
The 17-acre facility offers a 3-mile round-trip street car ride, accompanied by an educational narrative, which tells passengers stories from the glory days of the New England trolleys.
From passenger and freight street cars, interurban cars, elevated railway cars, service cars, and locomotives, railway enthusiasts will soak in the culture at the Trolley Museum.
