The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center is accepting applications for the National Critics Institute’s Fellows Program through May 16, The ctitics conference, led by Chicago Tribune’s Chris Jones, begins on the June 28 and runs through July 12.
The “boot camp for arts writers,” as Jones calls it, is a two-week workshop, designed for arts writers and critics looking to strengthen their skills in an increasingly changing industry. The institute is held at O’Neill’s Waterford campus, concurrently with the National Playwrights Conference and the National Music Theater Conference.
There will be increased number of scholarships available this year to assist with the cost of tuition, room and board. More details will be provided to applicants.
