Nature is a much better artist than me."" says Stafford artist Pat Morris, stepping back to examine her pastel drawing of the view from atop the earthen dam at Ellithorpe Reservoir in Stafford. Morris, who once made her living painting pet portraits says her primary interest now is painting wild animals on feathers. She found this spot years ago on a walk while she was having her car repaired but returns seasonaly, including in winter, to illustrate the scene's beauty.
