President Obama came to the University of Hartford today to rally support for gun control, even as conservative senators are trying to delay legislation from coming up next week. The president’s passionate speech in the state where a score of 6-year-olds and six educators were gunned down Dec. 14 was intended to shore up support in Congress for gun control. Will Obama’s speech prompt the Senate to hold a vote on a gun bill next week?
