Hammond Mill & Bernstein Preserves, East Haddam

The Hammond Mill Preserve in East Haddam is along the Eightmile River and was once home to the Hammond textile mill, though only the old dams and stone foundations remain today. Likewise, the Bernstein Preserve has a well-preserved sluiceway and old foundations with rusted machinery from the former Undine Twine Mill.<br><br>
