Pink's Hot Dogs, seller of frankfurters of distinction in Southern California, is now looking to make a name for itself on this side of the continent.
Lake Compounce in Bristol announced Friday that the big dog on the West Coast is opening a location at the amusement park May 17.
"Their long standing history, family oriented culture and guest service makes them a perfect fit for Lake Compounce", Lake Compounce General Manager Jerry Brick said in a prepared statement.
Pink's offerings bear monikers that match its Hollywood progeny: Lord of the Rings, the Martha Stewart, the Giada.
Richard Pink, a co-owner, said in a statement, "We love that our hot dogs have been made famous in TV and movies and are the favorites of countless movie stars who visit our Hollywood location, and we're excited to bring that fun and delicious experience to Lake Compounce for their guests to enjoy."
Lake Compounce park opens for the season May 10.
