ON20 continues to cement its place in Hartford as a fine-dining destination, adding a cheese-cart service to its offerings as of this week.
The cart features 14 soft, semi-soft and hard cheeses from Connecticut and New England, Wisconsin, California, Italy, the Netherlands, France and Switzerland, said general manager Brent Bushong II. Each cheese is priced at $4 apiece, a significant portion with complementing accompaniments like breads, membrillo, mostardas, nuts and fruit.
"[It's] the idea that we could do just a little bit more," Bushong said. "...If somebody has any interest in cheese, and you bring 14 of them over, chances are they're going to find something they like."
Bushong, an experienced sommelier, says he's also designed a beer, wine and cocktail pairing for each of the selected cheeses.
