Chef Scott Miller and his team create each menu with fresh local produce, meats and seafood in mind, spotlighting the best available ingredients of the season. Courses are paired with local wine, beer or craft cocktails.
The first event of the series kicks off June 14 at Simsbury's Rosedale Farms, with a "Lobster and Clam Bake," followed by a celebration of the "First Harvest" June 19. Rosedale also plays host to several more themed dinners on July 10, 24 and 31; August 14 and 28; Sept. 18 and Oct. 12.
Other events will be held at the Riverfront Boathouse on July 11; The Farmers Cow/Graywall Farm in Lebanon on July 18 and Aug. 16; and "Dinner at the Homestead" at the Nathan Hale Homestead in Coventry Sept. 9.
