The July 20 event, a "Feastival on the Farm" beginning at 4 p.m., features gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches topped with Boulder Knoll produce by The Cheese Truck and farm-fresh side dishes. The event also includes education stations, tours of the farm, hayrides, a raffle and live music. Tickets are $35 for adults or $15 for children.
On Aug. 21 at 6 p.m., Boulder Knoll hosts a family-style farm-to-table dinner produced by chef Jason Sobocinski of Caseus and Ordinary in New Haven and Smoke Box BBQ in Hamden. The barbecue-inspired meal will be paired with wines chosen by Cheshire's Southend Wine and Spirits, along with craft beer from Black Hog Brewing of Oxford. The event also features a silent auction and live bluegrass by musician Hannah Fair. Tickets are $100 before July 22, and $125 after that date.
All proceeds from the events will benefit Friends of Boulder Knoll's educational programming and donations of healthy local produce to area soup kitchens.
Boulder Knoll Farm is at 875 Boulder Road in Cheshire. For information and tickets: friendsofboulderknoll.com/dinner.
