Dish Bar & Grill in Hartford is the latest to introduce Sunday brunch, debuting this weekend from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Among the entrees ($10 to $20): sweet tea chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, a "breakfast" burger with sausage, fried egg and a bread pudding "bun"; steak and eggs, cornflake-crusted French toast and Dutch baby pancake with optional add-ons of berries and cream, apples with caramel and bananas, walnuts and chocolate chips. "Designer omelettes," with your choice of two fillings, are served with potato hash.
Brunch cocktails ($8 to $9) include a grand mimosa, peach bellini, French 75, variations on the classic Bloody Mary and a "DoNo coffee" with cold brew, Bulleit bourbon, Kahlua and cream. Choose an entree and two brunch cocktails, and have it all for $30.
