Easter arrives early again this year, with plenty of brunches and dinners (and maybe an Easter Bunny sighting here and there) at Connecticut restaurants. All listings are for March 27 unless otherwise specified.
For the first time, Vito's By The Park (26 Trumbull St., Hartford) and Vito's By The Water (1936 Blue Hills Ave., Windsor) will offer Easter dinner.
"We've had such a call for Easter, we decided to do it this year," said owner Rob Maffucci.
Each of the four courses will be served family-style: salad (garden, Caesar or caprese) and choice of appetizer (arancini, mussels, calamari or meatballs); or pasta (pasta a la Roberto, pomodoro, penne with pesto cream, linguine Alfredo or cheese ravioli) for the table. Entrées (choose two for table) include chicken francaise, flat iron steak with mushroom demi-glace, seafood-stuffed sole or sliced ham with Dijon mustard on the side. Dessert features cannoli with chocolate chips or tiramisu.

Millwright's, 77 West St., Simsbury, offers a three-course prix-fixe menu from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entrees include spring lamb, lobster cake Benedict, ham with onion and Gruyere crepe, roast salmon with rosti potato and asparagus, wagyu beef with crispy potatoes and bordelaise and gnocchi with spring vegetables.
