Easter Sunday, a sure sign of impending spring, arrives April 5. These Connecticut restaurants offer special brunches, dinners and menu items to celebrate. All offers on Easter Sunday unless otherwise noted.

>>Metro Bis @ The Simsbury 1820 House, 731 Hopmeadow St., Simsbury, serves a three-course prix-fixe menu from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Courses include crispy Thai spring rolls, potato leek soup, salads and smoked salmon to start; entrees of honey-roasted ham, braised short ribs, pan-seared salmon, or grilled rack of lamb and desserts like maple white chocolate bread pudding, warm apple cinnamon tart and key lime tart. >>Nat Hayden’s Barbecue, 144B Broad St., Windsor, offers Easter dinner to-go this year. The menu of smoked ham with housemade apple-raisin sauce, scalloped potatoes, green beans almondine and buttermilk biscuits is $59.95 and feeds six. Main St., East Hampton, hosts an Easter buffet with breakfast items, an omelet station, carving station with steamship round and honey-baked ham; entrees like lamb with rosemary demiglaze, Louisiana seafood medley and haddock Siciliano, and dessert display with candy bar. Seatings are available at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. Adults are $27.95, children 5 to 12 are $13.95 and children under 5 are free.

>>Cafe Louise Catering, 1156 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford, offers special Easter and Passover menus for the holidays. Easter entrees include baked ham, grilled beef tenderloin, pan-seared salmon and baked stuffed shrimp. The menu also features appetizers, side dishes, desserts and breads. The deadline to order is April 1; orders must be picked up by April 3.

The Passover menu items are prepared kosher style and are available throughout the week of the festival. Selections include matzo ball soup, cafe kugel, whole roasted chicken, horseradish and matzo-crusted salmon and various desserts. Orders must be placed 24 hours in advance.
