Margaritas, Mexican cuisine and revelry: Here are some options for Cinco de Mayo celebrations in Connecticut. All events are on May 5 unless otherwise noted.

Coyote Blue, 1960 Saybrook Road, Middletown, features drink specials including pomegranate and Cinco Blue margaritas and Modelo Especial on tap, along with special appetizers (asparagus and shrimp quesadilla, chili and bacon crisp, roasted poblanos and Cubanelles) and dinner items (asparagus enchiladas, chicken Coyote quesadilla with rice and beans, and Southwestern salad with salmon). Angelico’s Lake House, 81 N. Main St., East Hampton, hosts a Cinco celebration in its Tiki Hut with live music, specials on beer and tequila and food specials like a black bean quesadilla, burrito platters, carne asada, nachos and fajitas. Mohegan Sun’s restaurants offer various Cinco specials, including happy hour food and drink specials from 3 to 6 p.m. at Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville ($3 select drafts, $4 Barefoot wine, $5 margaritas and $10 chicken quesadillas.) A Blue Point beer dinner at Geno’s Pub at 7 p.m., featuring Mexican-inspired cuisine and beer pairings, is $50 per person. Besito, 46 S. Main St., West Hartford, will kick things off with complimentary Patron tastings from noon to 4 p.m., followed by a night of festive specials and giveaways. Cure, 55 Mill St., Unionville, offers all-day food specials, including tacos with smoked chicken, fried cod or andouille sausage; nachos and churros. Margaritas, 350 Roberts St., East Hartford, marks the holiday with pre-Cinco events, including a $9.99 all-you-can-eat taco promotion May 3.
