Whether you want to dine out on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, or order your dinner already prepared to serve at home, these Connecticut restaurants have festive holiday specials ready.

Foxwoods Resort Casino restaurants offer several holiday specials: a $40 three-course Christmas brunch at VUE24; a filet and shrimp dinner at Cedars for $65; breakfast and dinner specials at Junior’s (lobster benedict $22.95, prime rib $32.95, lobster scampi $32.95); roasted leg of lamb at Al Dente for $35 and Christmas Eve and Day specials at David Burke Prime, including rosemary mustard crusted rack of lamb for 2 ($110) and a 14-ounce, 60-day aged Wagyu bone-in sirloin ($130.) foxwoods.com/dining.

At Saybrook Point Inn, 2 Bridge St., Old Saybrook, the Fresh Salt restaurant offers Christmas Eve dinner from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., with an a la carte menu featuring options like pan-roasted filet mignon, 7-fish bouillabaisse and lobster and scallop duet.

On Christmas Day, a buffet dinner served from noon to 6 p.m. features a Yuletide harvest table with meats and cheeses, seafood sampler, salads, a carving station with roast prime rib and leg of lamb and entrees like porcini-encrusted filet medallions, blackened Arctic char and cornmeal fried oysters, and assorted desserts. Bear’s Smokehouse in Hartford and Windsor offers a full holiday catering menu of appetizers, salads, sides, breads, whole meats (smoked turkey, ham, rack and leg of lamb, baby back ribs), meats by the pound, sauces and desserts. Orders require three days’ advance notice. bearsbbq.com/holiday.

Nat Hayden’s, 144B Broad St., Windsor, offers two holiday dinner options for takeout, including sliced, glazed, smoked Virginia pit ham with apple-raisin relish or a 12-14 pound smoked turkey; roasted root vegetable hash with garlic and rosemary; scalloped potatoes; green beans with slivered almonds and country cornbread. Madison Beach Hotel, 94 W. Wharf Road, Madison, offers a five-course $50 prix-fixe menu Christmas Eve from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Christmas Day from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Courses include soup, salad, crab-stuffed sole or pan-seared Arctic char, English cut prime rib or roasted pork loin, and dessert.
