Bear's Smokehouse Hosts Beer, Bourbon Tasting Dinner

Bear's Smokehouse hosts a bourbon and beer-tasting dinner at its new Hartford restaurant Nov. 21 at 6:30 p.m.

Four courses include smoked venison sausage with Brussels sprouts, wild boar rack with smoked garlic mashed potatoes, bacon-wrapped quail with roasted root vegetables and apple cider doughnut bread pudding with bourbon caramel sauce. Beers include Two Roads' Holiday Ale and Bog Wild cranberry sour; bourbon pairings are from Jim Beam.
