The restaurant is described as an "eclectic urban bar" with signature martinis and cocktails and a menu of American fare, including small plates, flatbreads, burgers, sandwiches and entrees like lemon-Parmesan breaded chicken, sesame-encrusted ahi tuna and street-style tacos. Bar Louie has locations throughout the country; the closest New England restaurants are presently in Foxborough and Boston, Mass. and Providence, R.I.
Bar Louie will take over the spaces formerly occupied by Umi Sushi and Au Bon Pain on Isham Road. The restaurant is one of two new tenants joining Blue Back Square in early 2016; fitness studio Pure Barre will open at 115 Memorial Road in February.
"We're thrilled to welcome these exciting new tenants to Blue Back Square; they offer an extraordinary dining and entertaining atmosphere that our shoppers and guests look for," said Elizabeth Zigmont, Blue Back Square's marketing director, in a news release.
