Maggie McFly's has opened its newest location in Manchester, at 194 Buckland Hills Drive.
The fifth (and largest) restaurant in the Connecticut chain features 40 draft beers, a variety of wines on tap and an expanded menu of craft cocktails (many served with a signature glowing electric "ice cube.") Maggie McFly's also offers a wide range of fare: sandwiches, salads, pub-grub appetizers, burgers, pizzas, pastas and entrees like shepherd's pie, pot roast, steaks and seafood dishes. Organic and gluten-free items are available, along with a Sunday brunch.
The restaurant also features partnerships with local vendors and producers, including Farmers Cow, NoRA Cupcake Company, Nodine's Smokehouse, Praline's ice cream, Four Mile River Farm and Lamothe's Sugar House.
The Manchester location joins others in Brookfield, Glastonbury, Middlebury and Southbury. It's open Monday through Wednesday serving its regular menu from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a late night menu from 10 to 11 p.m. The bar stays open until 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday, it's open 11:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., with late-night menu from 10:30 p.m. to midnight and bar open until 2 a.m. Sunday brunch is served from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., along with the regular menu from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Late-night menu is served 10 to 11 p.m., with bar staying open until 1 a.m. 860-432-8255, maggiemcflys.com.
