Wine-tasting excursions aren't reserved just for the warm months. Six venues in western Connecticut are once again participating in the Litchfield Hills Winter Wine Trail promotion, a scaled-down version of the popular summer "passport" program encouraging visitors to explore the state's farm wineries.
Pick up a registration card at any of the following wineries and have it signed at each location before March 29. Those who visit all six wineries will be entered to win prizes, sponsored by Arethusa al Tavolo, TLC Limousine, Fife n'Drum, Warner Theatre, Village Center for the Arts, Fascia's Chocolates, Wendi Jack and Thorncrest Farm.
