Summer Farmers Markets In Connecticut
Connecticut farmers markets have become much more than a place to get state-grown fruits and veggies. Most have entertainment such as music, face painting, animal exhibits and food trucks, and also sell locally made breads, pies, jams and jellies, honey, eggs, dog biscuits, even soap and clothes.
The Berlin farmers market, 817 Farmington Ave., is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October. Information here.
