As crazed newsman Howard Beale in “Network,” <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PECLB001685" title="Peter Finch" href="/topic/entertainment/peter-finch-PECLB001685.topic">Peter Finch</a> uttered one of the most famous lines in cinema: "I’m as mad as hell and I’m not going to take this anymore!” Born in England, he moved to Australia with his Aussie parents when he was ten, and then was was “discovered”  by Sir <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PECLB003341" title="Laurence Olivier" href="/topic/entertainment/laurence-olivier-PECLB003341.topic">Laurence Olivier</a>, when Olivier and his theatrical company toured Australia. Finch went on to have an affair with Olivier’s wife, <a class="taxInlineTagLink" id="PECLB003002" title="Vivien Leigh" href="/topic/entertainment/vivien-leigh-PECLB003002.topic">Vivien Leigh</a>. Finch is the only actor ever to win an Oscar posthumously.
