Scott Bryce originated the role of Craig Montgomery in 1982 and played the part on and off for the next 12 years. He got two Emmy nominations in 1986 and 1987, losing to former "ATWT" co-star Larry Bryggman (ex-John) in the latter year. Bryce returned to "ATWT" last year, before leaving the show this February.
When Bryce first played Craig, the character was the young, romantic lead. When Bryce returned in 2007, Craig had been cemented as the town villain. He duped Meg Snyder into marriage, almost killed Paul Ryan, and tried to cause a miscarriage of Meg's baby (when he found out she slept with Paul). Bryce is a darkhorse with a nomination, and I believe he can get in, because this is what the voters want to see, what they truly have been clamoring for.
