The fans tribe voted out Laura and Eddie believes it will be the turning point. The tribe asks Sherri how she is doing. Saving face and humiliation, she replied with "I'm fine." She obviously did not want to vote out her ally. But, if she did not then she would be the next target. Well, she is the next target if they are keeping strength around. Reynold's cockiness proves true again. He reaffirms the viewers that his tribe is worthless in challenges and they need him to win. If they don't keep him around then they will barely become a jury member.
On Bikal, Brandon thinks about leaving. He feels guilty for leaving his wife and kids for playing the game again. Brandon feels selfish to enter in a game for a MILLION DOLLARS which can provide financial support for his family. Only a sane person would understand that. Hantz claims that he wants to be the next person voted out if the favorite's tribe goes to Tribal Council. Brandon tells Corinne, Cochran and Andrea that he feels good that he told the tribe the truth instead of his other plans of burning the shelter down and peeing on the rice and beans.
The next morning he pulls the tribe for an announcement. Brandon will tough it out for his family. Yay (sarcasm).
Reward Challenge
Two members of each tribe will hold on to a rope that is attached to a net. The rest of the tribe will throw coconuts into the net. The more coconuts, the more weight to hold on to. the last tribe holding wins steak, sausage... a FEAST of food and some wine for Corinne.
Phillip and Brandon are holding for faves and Michael and Matt for the fans. Why Eddie or Reynold are not holding is a surprise to me. I mean, they are the "strength" of the tribe. Reynold never misses a coconut and Sherri needs some of that luck. She started strong but could not connect anymore. Probst called her "worthless" in the challenge.
Brandon is the first one out. The fate of the faves are in Phillip's hand...literally. Matt drops and its a showoff between Michael and the special agent. Both are looking like they are about to drop. Michael turns beet-red before dropping the net. Bikal wins reward.
The fans are down on themselves. Sherri is keeping her mouth shut. Muscle didn't pay off in the challenge. She fears the idol is in play.
Cue: Everyone searching for it
The tribe looks under rocks, in tree holes, in the ground, up in the air and everywhere.
He did it again, Reynold found the idol. Conspiracy theory. The cameraman told him. OMG he is so cocky. I bet you he is the type of guy who uses his "charm" of good-looks to get away with murder in real life. He returns to camp and tells Eddie that he got the idol. Then, they make fun of Sherri for looking for the idol. Stupid her.. right??
...Tick-Tick-Tick
Brandon is very solemn. His pride for being the first one out eats at him. It doesn't help that Phillip, a huge loud piece, owns the fact he won the challenge for the tribe. I mean, he speaks the truth. Brandon sees how manipulative and controlling Phillip is. He calls him a dictator. The crazy eyes in Brandon has emerged. Like, have you heard a story about a murderer and their creepy stare. Yup, that's Brandon right now!
Brandon gets in a little spat with Phillip. Their personalities clash. They are the crazy loud characters of their season. The thing is, there can only be one or the other feels like they don't have the limelight. Phillip tells Brandon to not bite the hand that feels him. However, Brandon feels that he doesn't owe Phillip anything in this game.
