Geometry and the Universe

Orange Coast College's Physics, Engineering and Math Students (PEMS) will sponsor "A Geometric Theory of Everything," a presentation by theoretical physicist Garrett Lisi. The event is at 4 p.m. in the OCC Science Hall. OCC is at 2701 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa.

Summer Sample Sale

Baumvision will have its Summer Sample Sale from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. The sale is at Baumvision's headquarters, 3100 Pullman St., Unit C, Costa Mesa.


'Wings of Freedom'
