'Crime Trends Targeting
Andi Querry, a crime prevention specialist with the Newport Beach Police Department, will be about "Crime trends targeting seniors," during the February meeting of the Daughters of the American Revolution, which starts at 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 1000 Bison St.

Actress Geena Davis, California Secretary of State Debra Bowen, Rep. Linda Sanchez, state Senate Majority Leader Ellen Corbett, Orange County Sheriff Sandra Hutchens and Newport Beach Mayor Nancy Gardner will speak in support of the California Commission on the Status of Women at a reception in Newport Beach.
