SURPRISING DEPARTURE AND ARRIVE AT "YOUNG AND RESTLESS": After spending a total of 16 years since 1994 in the role of Phyllis on "Young and Restless," Michelle Stafford has decided to leave the show to pursue new opportunities. Her exit date and whether "Y&R" will recast the important part have not yet been revealed. Meanwhile, Camryn Grimes, whose "Y&R" character of Cassie Newman was killed off in 2006, is coming back to the series starting July 8. Cassie has periodically appeared as a ghost, but it will be a surprise as to whether Grimes' return is in the spirit world, as a look-alike, or if she'll be a completely unrelated individual.
A shocker to "General Hospital" viewers is the change in Bradford Anderson's quirky and popular part of Spinelli to recurring status. The decision not to renew his contract is likely the actor's, since now he will be free to look at outside projects.
Rumer Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, will guest star on at least one episode of "Pretty Little Liars" in late July. She'll portray Zoe, an ambitious charity organizer. On the next episode of "PLL," airing Tuesday, June 18, Ryan Guzman arrives as Jake, Aria's insightful and sensitive martial arts instructor, who could possibly turn into something more.
