"PRETTY LITTLE LIARS" EARNS A SPINOFF AND A FIFTH SEASON: Viewers who can't get enough of "Pretty Little Liars" have a spinoff on the way. "Ravenswood" will premiere on the ABC Family Channel following the annual "PLL" special in October. The new series, also executive produced by I. Marlene King, is based in Ravenswood, Pa., not far from the Rosewood home of "PLL," where five strangers find themselves connected by a deadly curse that has afflicted the town for generations. With its fourth season set to launch in June, "Pretty Little Liars" has already been picked up for a fifth season.

"Smash" has joined the list of NBC cancellations, and the network has shifted the airing of its remaining episodes to Saturdays.

It also looks like, barring an enormous ratings surge, "Red Widow" will not get past its original eight episodes.

Melissa Ordway becomes the new Abby on "Young and Restless." She'll debut on Monday, April 22. The actress became known for her role as Chloe on the teen drama "Hollywood Heights."

"High School Musical" star Corbin Bleu has been signed to "One Life to Live" in the newly created role of Jeffrey King, a friend of Matthew and Danielle. He'll work for Victoria at the Banner as a young reporter.
