Looking to spot a top Olympic athlete out and about in Downtown Hartford this weekend? Have we got a tip for you!  Agave Grill, Max Downtown, Salute, DISH Bar and Grill, Feng Asian Bistro, and City Steam Brewery Café are great places to fulfill your dream of creating your own “McKayla Maroney is not impressed” meme with the original subject present.  These restaurants are all participating in Capital City’s Taste of the Championships.  Coach Béla Károlyi was spotted yesterday at Max Downtown with Chef Hunter Morton, who created an original, health conscious entrée with a gymnastic theme for the event.  All the dishes created by the chefs will be featured on the regular menu from August 15-18, and the meals will be judged by Coach Béla, Hartford’s own Mayor, Pedro Segarra, and USA Gymnastics President, Steve Penny.  In addition, the following ten “Lets Eat” restaurants will provide a 20% discount for USA Gymnastics ticket holders those who have a USA Gymnastics Congress credential: Black Bear Saloon, Carbone’s Ristorante, DISH Bar & Grill, Hot Tomato’s Peppercorns, Salute, The Russian Lady, and The Tavern Downtown.  The USA Gymnastics’ 2013 P&G Gymnastics Championships will be held from August 15-18th at the XL Center in downtown Hartford.
