If you thought you knew large pretzels, then get a load of the Uber-Pretzel, known for being one of the largest of its kind. This jumbo treat is made of 8.5 ounces of dough. When baked to completion, the inch-thick Uber-Pretzel measures a whopping 7.5 inches by 10.5 inches. That's almost the size of an iPad! In honor of Oktoberfest, through Oct. 13 Pretzelmaker has unleashed its creation to all of its stores nationwide.

But why pretzels? Well, pretzels are actually quite popular in Germany because they pair well with beer. Southern Germany's own version of the festival, called Bretzel, usually hosts many "Brotfrauen," or bread ladies, who carry pretzels in huge baskets.

So, hurry and celebrate Oktoberfest like it's meant to by double-fisting, with a beer in one hand and a giant pretzel in the other! There's a Pretzelmaker location near you:
