No matter what your heritage may be, everyone is a little bit Irish on St. Patrick's Day. Local restaurants are getting ready for the holiday with plenty of hearty fare, Irish beers and a healthy dose of craic. Slainte!
>>Angelico's Lake House, 81 N. Main St., East Hampton, features a traditional Irish meal for $11.99, including corned beef and cabbage, potatoes, carrots and Irish soda bread. A la carte entrees will include shepherd's pie, fish and chips and Guinness stew. For drink specials, there will be $3.25 Guinness beers and $5 Irish whiskeys. John Moore and Tim Kearney will provide the entertainment.
Want to eat in? Angelico's is also offering a St. Patrick's Day meal for four to go for $22.95. Entrée choices include corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie or Guinness stew. The Dubliner, the casino's Irish pub, hosts an all-day party beginning at 11 a.m., with food and drink specials, live music and giveaways.
At Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville, a St. Patty's Day party kicks off at 3:17 p.m. Guests wearing green will receive $3.17 food and drink specials, and a corned beef entrée special is available for $16.95.
Corned beef and cabbage is also on the menu at Jasper White's Summer Shack, as a full Irish boiled dinner (with a pint of Guinness) for $22. Big Bubba's BBQ serves a corned beef and cabbage dinner for $17.95, with a 16-ounce Coors Light for an extra $3.
