Winemaker Dinner at Haight-Brown Vineyards July 27

Haight-Brown Vineyards, 29 Chestnut Hill Road, Litchfield, hosts a winemaker dinner July 27 at 7 p.m.

The five-course dinner will feature cuisine by chef Amy Hatch with wine pairings by Haight-Brown’s winemaker, Lukas Van Loggerenberg.

The menu:

Thai yellow curry served chilled over Jasmine rice

Paired with: Chardonnay/Railway White

 

Grilled glazed halibut with a spicy peach salsa

Paired with: Riesling

 

Pasta Primavera - Roasted seasonal vegetables with shaved Parmesan

Paired with: Morning Harvest 

 

Grilled Flank Steak: Marinated in Haight-Brown red wine, balsamic vinegar and garlic

Paired with: Big Red 

Dessert: Thorncrest Farms chocolates, lemon granita
