Jacques Pepin To Serve At Taste of the Nation New Haven Benefit

Share Our Strength hosts its New Haven Taste of the Nation event at the Omni Hotel at Yale May 22, welcoming more than 40 restaurants, caterers and vendors to the annual tasting benefit. Proceeds from the event will go to local charities dedicated to ending childhood hunger.

Confirmed participants include: 116 Crown, Barcelona, Bella Bella Gourmet, Box 63 American Bar & Grill, Bridgewater Chocolate, Briq Restaurant, Brownson Country Club, Caseus Fromagerie Bistro, Cask Republic, Chocopologie, Claire's Corner Copia, Cooking Matters, Fig Cooking School, Gelato Giuliana, Geronimo Tequila Bar & Southwest Grill, Ghent Catering, Heirloom at The Study, Ibiza, John Davenport's, La Cuisine Cafe, Market & Catering; MIKRO Beer Bar, Oaxaca Kitchen, Parallel Post at the Trumbull Marriott, Savvy Tea, Shake Shack New Haven, SONO Baking Company, Thali & Thali Too, The Farmer's Cow, Wheelers Market-Café & Restaurant, Willoughby's and Winvian (VIP.)

Celebrity chef Jacques Pepin will serve the event again as honorary chef chair.

Tickets are $85 for general admission; $150 for VIP (which includes early admission and exclusive access to an elite lounge with special offerings.) Click here to buy online.

Funds raised through the event will benefit Christian Community Action, Connecticut Food Bank, End Hunger Connecticut! and Connecticut No Kid Hungry Campaign.
