Connecticut may soon welcome its first Dave & Buster's location, according to a report in Manchester Patch.
Manchester Patch reported Tuesday that the Shoppes at Buckland Hills and its parent company, General Growth Properties, have submitted an application to the Manchester Planning Department to build a 26,400-square foot restaurant and arcade in the shopping plaza. No date has been scheduled for a hearing yet, Patch reported.
Dave & Buster's has more than 60 dining/entertainment locations in the United States and Canada, each boasting a full-service restaurant and video arcade. Menu items range from pub grub (nachos, wings, cheese fries, quesadillas, pretzel dogs) to burgers, sandwiches, salads and even a full range of steaks. A full bar serves draft beer, margaritas, sangria, mojitos, Long Island iced teas and other cocktails.
While the proposed Manchester business would be the first in the Nutmeg State, Dave & Buster's also has New England presence in Braintree, Mass. and Providence, R.I. daveandbusters.com.
