This edition of New Haven's twice-a-year Restaurant Week is extra special: it marks the Elm City's 375th anniversary. Nearly 30 of the city's restaurants will offer $18 prix-fixe lunches and/or $32 prix-fixe dinners during the week of April 21 to April 26.
Among the participating eateries: 116 Crown, Adriana's Restaurant & Wine Bar, Anna Liffey’s, Barcelona Restaurant & Wine Bar, Basta Trattoria, Bentara, Carmen Anthony Steakhouse, Caseus Fromagerie & Bistro, Christopher Martins, Geronimo, Goodfellas Restaurant, Heirloom, Ibiza, Istanbul Café, John Davenport's, L'Orcio, Miya's Sushi, Oaxaca Kitchen, Pacifico, Soul de Cuba, Temple Grill, Thali, The Cask Republic, Tre Scalini Ristorante, Union League Café, Yolande's Bistro & Creperie, Zafra Cuban Restaurant & Rum Bar, Zaroka Bar & Restaurant and Zinc. Menus will be posted on the event's website.
New Haven will mark its anniversary with other celebrations: historical tours of city landmarks, a large-scale light art exhibition by Yvette Mattern originating in East Rock Park that will beam over the city April 24 to April 27 and commemorative events and community performances on the New Haven Green during the afternoon of April 27.
Park New Haven offers discounted parking in the Temple Street and Crown Street garages during Restaurant Week, for just $3.75 from 4 p.m. to midnight.
