Saveur magazine founder and celebrated food writer Colman Andrews visits Mystic's Oyster Club Nov. 11 for an author dinner at 6 p.m. The event features a four-course dinner with Andrews and readings and discussion from his latest release, "The Country Cooking of Italy."
The meal, prepared by executive chef James Wayman, is slated to include fried cardoon with Parmesan cheese and lemon vinaigrette; fresh local squid; locally foraged mushrooms and farm-raised kid goat. Wayman and Andrews are working on the menu together, said Oyster Club owner Daniel Meiser.
