The Nutmeg State takes on the Ocean State at Jonathan Edwards Winery May 5, battling in a culinary competition to benefit Connecticut Farmland Trust and the Rhode Island Chefs' Collaborative.
Participating Connecticut restaurants include 85 Main in Putnam, Octagon in Groton, Max's Oyster Bar in West Hartford, CW's Chops and Catch in Manchester and Daniel Packer Inne in Mystic. Rhode Island restaurants include Gracie's and Julian's in Providence, One Bellevue in Newport and 84 Tavern on Canal and Ella’s Fine Food and Drink in Westerly.
The winners for best state and best restaurant overall will be determined by guests' votes. Tickets are $60, including a sampling of 10 signature dishes and five Jonathan Edwards wines. Click here to purchase.
