Galician Dinner at Barcelona Wine Bar April 17

Barcelona Wine Bar, 971 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford, presents a "Foods of Galicia" dinner April 17 at 7 p.m., featuring dishes from the region in the northwest corner of Spain.

The menu:

Caldo gallego: Kale and bean soup with cow's milk cheese
Vieira ornado: Baked scallops with caramelized onions and bread crumbs
Empanada di carnero: Braised veal tart
Filloas a la crema: Custard-filled pancakes, filled with brandy
