Forbidden City Bistro in Middletown marks its seventh anniversary this weekend, featuring special dishes to celebrate the occasion on Dec. 14 and 15.

Featured plates include "new age sashimi" - tuna sashimi with truffle oil and fava bean puree; hamachi sashimi with sea salt, plum powder and Mandarin orange olive oil and salmon sashimi with ginger and scallion puree, balsamic vinaigrette and peppercorn chili oil. Daily specials will be available.
