Cavey's Hosts Late Harvest French Wine Dinner Nov. 28

Cavey's in Manchester hosts a French wine dinner Nov. 28 at 6:30 p.m., featuring late harvest wines from the portfolio of Kysela Pere et Fils, Ltd.

The menu:

Carpaccio of smoked sable fish, confit of citrus and pous-pied (Domaine Hugues de Beaulieu, Picpoul de Pinet  2011)

Seared sea scallop, braised Belgian endive and spiced apple gelee (Chateau Suau Bordeaux Blanc 2010)

Bittersweet beet and watercress risotto (Castelmaure Vin Gris 2011)

"Salade Lyonaise":  60 minute egg and caramelized pork belly (Castelmaure Col des Vents Corbieres 2009)

Roast leg of lamb in herb-salt crust and cassoulet of tarbais beans (Domaine Grand Veneur Cotes du Rhone Champauvins 201)

Mignardises
