Bonefish Grill, a casual seafood-focused chain with more than 150 locations throughout the United States, will open its first Connecticut restaurant March 25 in the Promenade Shoppes at Evergreen Walk, South Windsor.

Bonefish Grill is known for market-fresh fish, prepared over a wood-burning grill. The restaurant offers eight species of fish and seafood each day, and signature sauces like chimichurri, lemon butter, warm mango salsa and pan-Asian glaze are designed to complement grilled specialties like mahi mahi, Chilean sea bass, grouper, salmon and cold water lobster tails. 

The restaurant also serves an array of sandwiches, steaks, chops and chicken dishes, and the bar offers a selection of signature martinis and cocktails with fresh ingredients, along with regional beers and food-friendly wines.

The South Windsor location will serve dinner nightly: 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Sunday, which includes Sunday brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Bonefish Grill is part of the Bloomin' Brands Inc. restaurant group, which also includes Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Carrabba's Italian Grill, Outback Steakhouse and Roy's.
