Following its recent renovation, Barcelona Wine Bar in West Hartford introduces a brand-new lunch menu this week.
Among the new choices: bocadillos (Spanish sandwiches) with fillings like Serrano ham and Manchego cheese; speck and spicy caponata; roasted peppers and boquerones (anchovies); chicken liver mousse; omelet with garlicky aioli; raw tuna with hot peppers and cilantro and roast beef with goat cheese and truffle sauce. All bocadillos are priced at $3.50.
Soups ($4) include mushroom and morcilla sausage with leeks and potatoes. Entree salads ($12) are topped with roasted chicken, grilled skirt steak and tuna salad.
Make it a combination for $9.50: any two bocadillos with a side salad or soup, or one bocadillo, one soup and a beer.
