An unaired “Glee” recording of “Seasons of Love” that features Cory Monteith found its way onto the Internet Monday night, six months after the actor’s death.

Montieth, who played New Directions singer Finn Hudson, died July 12 in Vancouver from an accidental drug overdose. He was 31.

The song, from the Broadway play “Rent,” popped up on a YouTube channel that a Fox spokesperson said Tuesday is not affiliated with the network or the show. She could not explain how the song was leaked.

The spokesperson also couldn’t confirm reports that producers had planned to use the song in the show’s third season finale.

A different version of the song was used in the episode “The Quarterback,” a tribute to Monteith that aired last fall during the show’s fifth season.

Up until now, the original recording, allegedly from the show’s “unused vaults,” had not been released.

Former and current “Glee” cast members Monteith, Lea Michele, Dianna Agron, Naya Rivera, Chris Colfer, Mark Salling and Amber Riley perform on this version of the song.

You can listen to the track in the video above.
