Local musicians will perform on each block downtown as Harbor Springs Street Musique kicks off 7-9 p.m. Thursday, June 27. In addition to music on each block, Street Musique features children’s activities, magic shows, balloon animals, face painting and sidewalk chalk.
“We have a host of musicians lined up for local residents and resorters alike to enjoy on Thursday nights,” said Daniel DeWindt, executive director of the Harbor Springs Chamber of Commerce. “The streets are packed with people who have come down for dinner or for an ice cream cone and to listen to the music.”
Harbor Springs Street Musique will continue from 7-9 p.m. on every Thursday evening through Aug. 29.

Street Musique is presented through a partnership between the Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce and Blissfest. Harbor Springs Gallery Walk, a celebration of fine arts, adornment and antiques, will run from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 27. There will be special sales, demonstrations, open houses with complimentary food and beverages, as people stroll through the numerous galleries in downtown Harbor Springs and the area.
“This event is for our local galleries to thank their customers and attract some new ones,” DeWindt said.
