Pictures: Newtown Community Giveaway
Sandy Hook Elementary School families and faculty arrived from noon to 3:00 p.m. to pick out toys, stuffed animals, games , books, clothes and other gifts sent from around the world. Remaining Newtown students and their families were invited from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Organizers and police estimate that nearly 4,000 people attended the "Community Giveaway" held by the Town of Newtown Sunday afternoon at Reed Intermediate School in the gym.
