Michael Moore

The Mark Twain House and Museum brings controversial filmmaker Michael Moore (pictured) to Storrs' Jorgensen Center as part of its A Pen Warmed Up in Hell lecture series, named after an incendiary Twain quote. Moore, whose films Roger and Me, Bowling for Columbine, Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko and Capitalism: A Love Story have pretty much taken on anyone with power to abuse, is sure to be both colorful and inciteful. Just like Twain.

Filmmaker Michael Moore, Nov. 18, 7:30 p.m., $25-$85, Jorgensen Center for the Performing Arts, 2132 Hillside Road, Storrs, (860) 486-4226, jorgensen.uconn.edu.
