Dakota was the first second-generation Miss Golden Globe ever; her mother held the honor in 1975. Long before Dakota earned the title, she made her film debut in "Crazy in Alabama" (1999), in which she played the daughter to her real-life mother. Once Dakota graduated high school, she signed with IMG Models and modeled for MANGO. The Austin native returned to the big screen with her first box-office hit "The Social Network" (2010), and paved her acting path with other roles in "Beastly" (2011), "Goats" (2012) and "21 Jump Street" (2012). Dakota is set to star in E.L. James' adaptation of the erotic novel "Fifty Shades of Grey."
