Rails To The Darkside, East Windsor
When building the Hartford to Springfield trolley line in the early 1900s, workers encountered a cemetery. Instead of diverting around it, the workers tore up the tombstones and laid the track over the graves. And so the lights in the car go out, and the trolley rocks as it accelerates down the line into the dark woods, across the desecrated ground.
